All of us sudden my little L1 75 has decided it needed to leak at the fuel cut off valve under the tank. Before I tear into it, can I assume it's nothing but O rings?

Pretty sure the kubota online parts shows the breakdown on rebuild kit if you are interested

Removed the needle, found 1 "O" ring, replaced it.
There was something else that looked like a square piston ring between two washers.
Decided not to mess with it, didn't know what kind of trouble I'd get into on a Sunday.
Anyway it appears the one I replaced was the leaker.
Love it when a plan comes together.

Any idea on the size of O ring? Any tips for disassembling the valve. I have a L345DT that is making the snow underneath it pink as it has a slow leak at the shutoff valve.

Rather than spend $70 on a new one I'm hoping to fix it with a new O ring. I plan of removing the fuel line at the end away from the shutoff valve. Putting that end in a diesel can, draining the tank, and then twisting off the valve from under the fuel tank.

Am I approaching it the right way? How do you access the O ring?

Thanks

Hello
If it is just leaking out the end you don’t need to remove the valve. Just remove the small snap ring and screw the valve out. You will what to drain the fuel first. Just takes one small oring . If you send me a PM with a mailing address I will mail you a oring. Good luck.
