I have a M5400 with 750 hours that I love. Great tractor. I also would love to have a fel. Dealer says Kubota no longer makes em for this tractor. In looking at aftermarket loaders I have come upon a Westendorf, new, that they will deliver for $6,100.
Good route to go?? Ive looked for used ones and had no luck.
Anyone have experience with Westendorf?

Thanks all,

Jay

Westendorf makes a well built fel, albeit quite expensive. I was able to get a floor display model and they built the attachments for my tractor. I took about five weeks to deliver. It was shipped to my local Kubota dealer. Mine fit perfectly. I love it especially after I installed a piranha toothbar.

We were just the opposite, we had a Westendorf on our Case CX80 and it was literally a piece of junk. It seems every time we used it more than a couple of days it needed attention of some sort, broken parts or bent arms, bucket etc. It actually fell off several times and new mounting brackets had to be fabricated.

It was used pretty hard, but no different than the one on our M8540 that replaced the Case.

I'd look at Woods or Quicke.
