I have a BX2370. Found a good deal on an old 5' woods blade with tilt.

I know the blade is going to be too tall for the tractor...especially with tilt, the moldboard is going to be too tall I think. Is it possible to weld on a bracket so I can lower the mount points so the tractor will pick it up higher?

Pic below....Cant tell much, but maybe someone will know what kind it is. I'm going to look at it tomorrow.

As long as you are happy with the size and weight, there is no reason the mounts can't be reworked. Figure the time, materials and effort into the price.

I use a Woods WB60 with tilt on my BX2370-1 and it works fine. It lifts it high enough and the tractor carries a full blade of gravel when I grade my drive.

Went and looked at the blade. It was in real good shape. Few spots of surface rust, nothing major. Cutting edge was in great shape. It had been painted orange to match a kubota. The orange paint is peeling off and didnt stick to the yellow paint underneath.

But for $250 I cant complain. Maybe i'll get a chance to use it this weekend and see how good the tilt feature works.

To get useful comments, give the blade length and the mid height of the main bar or the pins when level.
