has anyone tried fixing a leaky radiator with flexseal? i got another facefull of antifreeze thx to my leaky radiator and i was wondering if flexsealing a 2x2 area would work on fixing leaks.

Short answer is no. Pull the radiator and have a radiator shop fix it right.

Yeah I wouldent skimp out and go cheap when it comes to keeping my engine cool on anything. Take it to a repair shop and have the radiator done right or replaced. If nothing else you'll have a handy dandy radiator for making quality moon shine with...

well i tried jb weld. seems to work, kinda. anyone know where i can get a new radiator new or decent used for cheap? there 300 bucks on ebay, which is rediculous because i can get a new car one, with same hose size and placement for 100.

try a scrapyard, or go to a tractor repair shop, they may have something, but much like your situation, the used one laying around are shot as well. Radiators are priced by overall size and the layers or cores they have, a newer small car my only have at most a 2 core radiator, a Diesel may have 3-6 cores they generate alot of heat like a race car engine. Sometimes you just have to bite the bullet.

Just wait it you've been running the tractor for several hours and a few hundred degrees of hot water run threw the coils. That glue wont hold long. Check with West Kentucky tractor and see if they have one.
