The mower just has not been cutting at the height the diagram is showing, or at least as I read it. Originally set both front and rear at B-X which should be 4 inches. Have put over 100 hours on the mower and it just doesn't cut smooth and does some scalping.
Today I check air pressure in the tires and place mower on concrete floor. Then take a measuring tape to the bottom of the deck and I'm seeing 5.25 inches on the front, and bit less then 3 on the rear.
I start adjusting from measuring the blades under the deck until I get it at 3.75 on front and rear of the blades. To do this the front is on C-Y (3.5) and B-YII (4.75) on the rear. The deck is level front to rear.
So what am I missing?
