I just gota f3680 from a inheritance. It starts and runs fine. The hydro won’t move forward or back. The power steering doesn’t work and the pto doesn’t work. The lift works fine. Any ideas?

Welcome to the OTT forum.

Did any of those items work before you changed the hydraulic fluid?

Since you only missing half of the hydraulic operation, I would look at the diverter valve, make sure it's getting fluid to the steering unit.

The fact that you have no drive or PTO function points to a mechanical issue, but the hydraulic issue could be playing a role in it's non operational state.

Thanks for the reply’s. They didn’t work before changing the fluid. I checked the diverter and it seams to be sending fluid fine. I tore into the post to check the stealing and found the return line from the steering assembly is twisted quit bad from tightening. Could this cause some of the problem? Also when I jack the rear off the ground the steering works.

Yes the return line being closed off is difinetly not good.
and if the steering working when it has no back force on it, it could be the steering cylinder has a blow seal. ;)
