I successfully changed my engine oil and the front axle oil thanks to the DIY My Way YouTube channel. Check him out. He’s got some good videos.

Also get a work shop manual and download the Kubota application software.

Good job. Your skills and confidence will grow as you do more of this type of thing. It’s pretty nice to not have to rely on someone else if you have the ability and means. You will probably save a bit of money too and won’t have to haul your tractor around for routine maintenance.

I've watched a couple of his videos before. Pretty good. He is like the Bob Ross of tractors. Lol. Very calm and methodical.

After some use it might be prudent to recheck your front axle oil level. It is common for it to "settle" from the original full level. Mine are like that anyway.

Will do. I was concerned about the front axle oil. I’ve seen several videos about very low levels. Thankfully, I had plenty. I want to make this tractor last.

X2 on getting the service manual. How many hours are on your machine?

Another thing is torquing/checking the wheel lugs and loader frame mounting bolts. Guy at our camp a few weeks ago rolled his L3901 when his rear tires came off.

I have 350 hours on it. Thanks for the tip on the lug nuts. I think I will get the service manual too.[/QUOTE]
