Hello all, new to this forum and new to Kubota tractors in general. I recently purchased a 2022 LX2610 July just passed and just realized I was given the older style B2356 loader bucket with my brand new machine. Realizing this only because I wanted/needed a bracket with hooks and trailer sleeve for obvious reasons. When ordering I noticed this was the case. Can anyone tell me if there are any real differences or benefits to the Newer buckets? I did search here and google but couldnt come up with anything solid.
Thanks!!

I don't know about the LX2610 but on the standard L, the difference when it comes to the bucket between the older version LA525 loader and the new model LA526 loader was the addition of pre drilled holes for a bolt on cutting edge. There are also some other improvements to the loader itself like a bracket for a 3rd function valve.

Interesting. I wonder if these would be similar in those aspects. My 2610 has the new LA535 loader with 3rd function but the older bucket. No predrilled holes, but the angles of the buckets look different somehow? Maybe one is more square back(older) and one more round? Im basing this strictly from pictures online.

Here is the light duty 60" bucket I had on my LX2610. No predrilled holes for a cutting edge. Yours looks like the same as mine.

Im not sure why but it looks a lot bigger to me. Im wondering if the volume of it would be bigger? Mine is also a 60” Light duty.

They are not the exact same. One has a curve on the front side walls and one doesn't. Also, the square tube top rail on the OP's bucket looks noticeably more substantial than the top rail on SGR's bucket.. and since that's what you'd probably be attaching hooks/receiver to, all the better!

I would say if you do not have any specific problem with the bucket on your machine, just plan to keep it and modify it to suit as needs arise.

54" buckets are drilled for as cutting edge. 60" buckets are not. The thickness of the steel is the same. The 60" is considered a light duty bucket because of it were loaded full of a heavy material ( for example wet sand) the weight would be more than the hydraulic 's could lift.

I bought my LX2610 and it came with a 66" light duty bucket, dealer was nice enough to comp me a bolted cutting edge to it. Model L2248 bucket.

66” Bucket? I thought the LX’s came with either a 60” or 54”… Any pictures of this bucket, and does your machine struggle when its a full load?

Here is another image with base sand in the bucket. No problem picking and pouring, moving. I would say though, when I load the bucket up with large boulders and rocks I drop in RPMs say like: 2700 to 2600 roughly. Of course I am at 4000 ft elevation on a inclined foothill. https://photos.app.goo.gl/Bvk3R2Dez3rLtQ8R6
