I'd like to install a Blackvue dash cam on the roll over bar of this tractor. Anyone have ideas about where to tap into the 12v system? Or ideas in general about doing this sort of thing? I would also consider installing the outlet for a cigarette lighter in which I could plug the OEM terminal end of the camera feeder.

TIA

Top of my head, I would say the POS terminal of the starter, inline fuse it!

My B2920 had a fused pre-wired harness terminal at the RH base of the ROPs. Wire has push on connectors that were taped off and tucked up in the fender area. If I recall it is for work lights. I run my electric vest/gloves off that circuit when blowing snow.

May I ask why a camera?
If just to record action with the machine then a lighter plug would be fine.
Most direct wired dash cams are capable of capturing motion events when the car is parked. If you have a security issue you need to have it wired directly. If not the lighter outlet will work fine.

Thanks for the tip on the harness.

The camera is simply for capturing action with and near the tractor. For my amusememt.

On both my M Ag tractors, I have cameras facing rearward and each side so I can watch my implements without looking back. I don't 'record' anything, just observe.
