I have a question concerning the size of the freeze plugs.
I have a Ventrac Tractor its engine is a Kubota D-902 diesel .
I need to know the diameter of the freeze plugs.
I want to install an engine block heater and I want to verify that I am ordering the correct diameter unit.
I suspect the heater I need is this: The Kubota P/N that I think I can use is "70000-00297" but I need to verifi the freeze plug size.

But I need to know the diameter of the freeze plug . Can anyone help ?

as for the diameter,it looks to be 25 MM

85Hokie almost got it right, that one is obsolete and replaced by P/N 70000-00776.

And yes it a 25MM plug, but note: a standard 25 mm block heater will not work as it need the extension so that the element does not hit the water jacket.
