I ordered (from Weaver's Compact Tractor Parts) a crank-adjustable leveling link this past weekend, for my JD 790. The price seemed reasonable, worth the convenience that it would add, and the measurements were close enough that I took the risk. It arrived yesterday- kudos to Weaver's for fast, professional service- and checked out the fitment. It was just about right, with a couple of very minor adjustements. I needed to make a sleeve for the top mount-link pin fit, because the bore was bigger than the diameter of the link pin. That was easy. I also had to make an attachment pin for the bottom, where the link attaches to the lift arm- the JD pin wouldn't work (by its design). That also was easy, and once I knew it would all work, I painted it JD green. It works very smooth, and I can reach the handle from the tractor seat. I have a total of $130.00 in it, and I consider it a good buy. I'm sure that there are numerous Kubota models that it would fit on.

Hmmm ...... I wonder how difficult it would be to replace the ends on one of those to make a crank adjustable top link???

Good idea, now you've got me thinking about it.

Probably the most pertinent question would be if there is enough range of adjustment for a top link.

Yeah, those probably don't have a whole lot of stroke built into them.

edit: the one from Weaver's lists a stroke just under 6 inches, so it should work if the initial length was correct.

My previous Kubota came with a crank leveler from the factory. I really liked it. Unfortunately, the 4060 did not have one:(

I know, in my case, that the particular array of implements that I have calls for some wide variety in top link length- I'm not sure if 6" would be enough stroke, for what I have.

A Grand L didnt come with a crank leveler?.... I think your dealer is at fault.
It has a square section that I lift up, then rotate to adjust. It's clearly how it's designed to work, but sucks compared to the hand crank I got used to!
I may look into replacing it.

Has anyone ever seen a box leveller short enough to fit a B7100 (ie: 16" at the centre of adjustment)?

The other issue would be the side of the ends, most Box levelers are much bigger than what you need.
