My BH77 don’t mess around. I get in and get it done. Stumps always will take a little work but you can do the happy dance when you finally get it out!

Sure did. Hard work and a lot of tubes of grease. A couple hydraulic lines later. My main focus was that I didn’t want to spend 60k to have someone come in and do my land I would rather invest 35k and do it myself and when I’m done I still own the equipment. I have lots more to go. I am looking at buying a track mounted stump grinder to get the ones out that I don’t need completely cleared. Taking Douglas firs out that are 2.5’ across and 6’ deep are quite challenging. I have to roll them and pressure wash the mud off just to get them to with my burn pile or to a pond I am filling up with stumps and plan to bury.

YOTEANTIDOTE — forgive me if I missed this - but what size bucket are you running on your BH77 backhoe ??

Sorry for the late reply.
I have a 16” bucket, sometimes I wish I had a smaller one for stumps. Thinking about getting a ripper, hard to imaging how tuff some roots can be.

But for general digging the 16” is perfect.
