Anyone know the size or type of o-rings that go on the fittings? 4 hours at the dealer and a call to WR resulted in a Kubota part that blew in less than an hour.

Talked to a millwright friend...he thinks we got boss 70 o-rings instead of boss 90...now to find a place that has them...both Napa and another close auto parts store were clueless...

Which one of the o-ring was the original?

The first and third do not look like O-rings at all they look like X-rings.

If that's the case then O-rings will not seal.

Is the indent where the rings fit V shaped or flat bottomed?

I am assuming the O rings came out of the aluminum manifold for your third function? Those would be ORB fittings that would take standard O rings, which your pictures are surely not. Those look like some specialized O rings. ORB fittings are fairly forgiving in my experience.

Yeah those pictures are what came out of it from the factory...yes the aluminum block... between the block and the JIC adapter for the hose.

1300 hrs on the tractor... probably 1000 on the block and solinoid...not too bad for four o-rings.

So will 70s do or do I need the 90 standard? And idea what size?

Thanks for the help...spent an afternoon at the Kubota dealer chasing down less than $5 in o-rings, got home and they blew in less than hour... previous ones were weeping badly...new ones and I got the Ceasar Palace fountain in Vegas.

Take a fitting off the block and give a picture of the fitting, the block port opening, and a clearer picture of the rings that came out and I can give you a definitive answer as to which ones you need. ;)

Don't get so close so the camera can focus.

Problem is that ring is for a #8 hydraulic fitting and these are #6.

Reluctant to take it apart again...the second round I got more aggressive on tightening...in two hours the A side is not leaking at all and the B side is slightly weeping.

That being said...next time I am in town I will find a hydraulic shop and get some boss 90 o-rings, some x-rings and some of those sealing rings (and maybe a kitchen sink) so when this blows again I am ready.
