Hey Guys:

Wondering if any of you guys have filled your own tires with Rim Guard.

Called a local dealer and they said fluid is $2.40 gallon and they will fill for 1 hr labor $69....

I asked if they would just sell me the liquid and they will.

Thinking I will save the $ and do it myself.

I've been reading around and think I have a good idea on what it will take.

Was going to buy a tire fill adapter...

https://www.amazon.com/Milton-S-466...=1476280655&sr=8-1&keywords=tire+fill+adapter

The chart on the website shows 8.3 gallons per tire.

Does that seem right to you guys?

Thanks ahead for any input.

Im thinking I used 5 gallons of anti freez and water ,mixed 50/50 per wheel in the BX, and yes it DO MAKE A DIFFERENCE, and look around and see if you can find a set of wheel weights, mine are 70 pounds each so it works out to about 110 lbs per wheel. They came off an old Cub tractor

Mine has 10 gallons in each tire. When my tires were filled, they didn't change the valve stems to the metal ones. One day my tractor had much less power and quickly noticed a wheel was slipping. Checked pressure and the tire was a little low. Figured that if I add some pressure, it won't slip. As soon as I started to add air, the metal center shot out of the rubber stem and blasted a stream of beat juice across the ground. That was cool..not. I drained both tires and took them to a tire shop that broke the beads and switched the stems to metal ones. Be sure you change your valve stems if adding Rim Guard.
