After 100's of times of putting on the BH I finally crimped the inlet hose.
Got hose changed, while changing hose a young neighbor showed up who often helps with my daily chores because I am old.
I said how about changing the battery, I had bought a new one.
After all said and done, I tried to start tractor. Cranked and cranked, it would not fire. Finally after checking, I found that he had put the positive and negative backwards. I switched it back and tractor started and ran good, I took it back to the barn and turned the key off. Tractor kept running, would not shut off. I pulled off the battery terminals, still running, pulled the under seat safety switch. still running, finally shut off fuel, tractor quit running.
Checked all fuses, all good.
Let tractor sit for awhile, hooked battery back up and started, then turned key off and it shut down, did this several times. Then took it for a little ride, after tractor would not shut off again until I shut down fuel. Any suggestions?
