Bx2230 Universal Joint replacement

87.00 for universal joint,wow.
Anyhow i am gonna order a special pair of pliers for this project as well.
my question is, has anyone had this problem before, because i dont know how it got damaged.

What's special about the u-joint? Have you tried to match it?

How did it get damaged? What is damaged about it?

And what special pliers?

It uses some type of German fastener system , regular snap ring pliers will not cut it. Really strange looking. I can't remember what they call it something like Hoffowitz or something crazy like that. I have know idea how it got damaged. Could have happened when the deck was off. I should be able to get it. Though with the right tools.
