Why do you ask? From the title of the post is your hydraulic oil hot? If so have you checked the cooling fan?

Yes I have , The fan is OK. I was using the loader the other day fixing washouts and when I was removing the loader ,The quick connects burnt my fingers. I never noticed them that hot before. I increased the Pressure from 1750 to 2000psi.

Its normal . You should try touching the cylinders on case 590 super e after using it hard for e few hours .

Yes bumping the pressure up will increase heat. ;)

I have bought the shims to increase my hydraulic pressure. I just ordered one of each size shim available. Even thought I am probably just going to add .2 shim. Do you know why only the .2 shim has a hole drill through? Whereas the .1 shim and .4 shim are solid? Sorry if that is a silly question. I have not being through the manual fully or had the pressure relief valve apart to understand it yet.
