My homemade sun canopy has bit the dust and I'm going store bought. this time. What's your favorite canopy, and why. Price, convenience, durability. I don't trailer my tractor but being able to easily dismount the canopy would be a plus. I also like to cover it with a golf cart enclosure, so something approaching just under 60 inches would be good.

There are a bunch.

Rhino hide: relatively inexpensive, $300 ish, looks durable, easy on/off, but short at 45 inches long

After this the price goes up to the $500's

Tractor add ons Bare co: $535, looks durable, good size, bolts on so no easy removal

Thunderbird: $529 , Again good size and looks durable, bolts on

Cover my tractor: A couple of options $400 to $525

Farm Parts Store: Metal, $450

Of Course, there are shipping charges to consider as well.

I'm sure there's others. What do you have and do you like it.

Absolutely love the rhino hide!
Keeps me out of the sun, and can use the rops independent of the top. I'm 6' and there is plenty of headroom. This was late in the day, long shadows, still shade. Height is adjustable, can slide down to fit under a 78" door. Removes without tools in seconds.

That is beautiful, much prettier than the wood one I made. Scoring a top for $30 is brilliant.

Im going to give the Rhino a try. It's certainly versatile and almost half the cost of the others. I just hope I can make it work with my golf cart cover for snow blowing. I'll post pictures after I install it.

I think you will like it. Good coverage, very versatile and indestructible. I drive it carelessly through woods, and toss it without regard in the bed of my truck when trailering. It might not be a fancy pants 'golf cart top', because it's a dumpster lid, but it's a great dumpster lid!

The rhino hide is a great canopy very tough and nearly indestructible! If you park outside the roof does collect rainwater. I just tip the rops back to empty it.

Hmm. I would not want to have to do that. Can't you just angle it to run off?

I'm afraid you would have to angle it too much. If you don't like that I would say go find another option. If your canopy hits limbs and other obstacles be careful what you buy. Although the rain water on the top is annoying this top is indestructible and easily removable at a good price.

I agree with @leveraddict ^^ (my machine is stored indoors so that was not a consideration for me). If left outside it will likely hold some water because of the nature of the material and molded ridges that give it integrity. The top will shed its water once using the machine.

Got my Rhinohide. It was a little finicky to get it installed. I kept measuring one side against the other to make sure it was even. I like that the canopy is removable, this helped with the installation cause you could install the bracket bars without the canopy supports attached. I like that it's relatively easy to raise and lower the canopy. In the winter, I'll have it level with the top of my rops so I can get the golf cart curtains on. In the summer I might lower it to get more sun protection. You can't beat the Screenshot_20211109-161146_Gallery.jpg price for a hard top canopy.
