Can you re-thread hydrolic/transmission fluid bolt?
Recently had universal joint/shaft unattach from each other while mowing. The extension banged up my filter bad enough that it caused the bolt to become slightly stripped when removed?

Dealer wants me to replace the entire front plate for over $300? Also, may have damage to the coupler/shaft as well..... another cost of $300 not counting labor. Looking for quality used items to replace damage, anyone have any suggestions on rethreading or puchasing of used pieces?
