Looking at purchasing a box blade for my B2320 Kubota and was wondering what size and what brand manufacture do you recommend.

I'm like a deer in the head lights this tractor stuff is all new to me. I only want to do it once and do it right thanking you in advance for your help.

My very knowledgeable dealer recommended an 48" box blade for my BX2370 stating I would run out of traction before I ran out of power. Your B series tractor is enough heavier I would think it would handle the 54" just fine. As far as brand there are several good one's out there. Really not that much to one. Make sure it has a bolt on replaceable blades. Weigh is also a good indicator of quality, with heavier being better.

Keep in mind that the wider box blades will level & average large areas better, and narrower box blades dig better. It's a function of surface area; it requires more down force (weight) to drive the wider blade into the ground that the narrower one. If your main use will be digging, contouring, or cutting water courses, consider the narrower box. Besides the wider box is easier to hit things with, as my neighbor found out last week when he hit the corner of his new huge metal building. (one week old) The B2150 cleared, but the 60" box blade didn't.:(
My B7100 with a 42" box will dig circles around his B2150 with a 60" box.

I too have a B2320 and I bought a 60" box blade with it.
Works just fine. I use it for grading my driveway and filling holes in my yard.
From what I understand you want the BB to be at least as wide as your tread width so you won't have to drive in the freshly leveled area.

I have a 60" box blade on one B7510 and a 48" on the other. Both work just fine, but I can pull a bigger pile of gravel with the 48" box blade. The 60" blade is a lot nicer to work with as a result of its extra width, just a lot fewer passes to get the job done.
