Where is a good place to get a replacement for my L3800? Thanks

I wired a spare on my BX23s, just in case.

Dunno why, I learned from a loader operator. 🤷‍♂️

Bend it straight and it will be fine. Place it on the anvil part of your vise and give it a wack with the hammer of your choice.

I just looked up the cost of a Kubota BX23S key, and for the price ($16.57) it should be gold plated and shipped in a velvet box. It is no wonder that some of the dealers only give the customer one key with the purchase of the tractor. It is nothing more than a stamped piece of steel that has been rhodium-plated.

replace with a 'start/stop' pushbutton module, throw away the key..
If I kept my tractor somewhere other than my shop building, that's exactly what I would do. And leave the key switch in place. Label the toggle switch (KOEO) and start button as "lights" or "sprayer".

Odd. When I bought my used BX1870 it had only one key. I went in to the dealer to get a filter kit, some oil, and to ask about replacing the gage cluster. I mentioned the key to the parts man and he reached below the counter and tossed me a pair with the plastic knobs imprinted KOBOTA and said “no Charge” Am I just lucky or what?

Almost same thing for me. My L3301 was delivered with one key. Fast forward to when I go to the dealer to get fluid for the first service. I asked for a key and the guy opened a drawer with a pile of keys and pitched one on the counter. The drawer had a bunch of individual keys, guess they all fit anything kubota as there was nothing to identify them.

In many cases if you can't find your tractor key, borrow one from your neighbor!
When my BX was delivered I asked about the key and they said the same key fits all Kubotas no matter what size / model. I could walk next door and "brough" my neighbors L using my key. Good argument for a hidden kill switch.

Your BX does not use the same key as your neighbor's L does, not even close.
