Hello all,
I have a question regarding the interactual ratio for B8200, my tires at some point will need replacing. I currently have 24x8.5-12 front and 13.6-16 rear.

I've done a bunch of searching and found a thread by a gentleman user name Dunk regarding a B6100 that showed the formula for making sure that the rolling circumference difference between front/rear and the gear ratio were within the 0 to 5% Kubota specs.

The gear ratio or interactual for the B6100 he said was 1.464 is it the same for my B8200 4x4 gear drive?

I will at some point be replacing the tires with same sizes turf tires it came with, and, when I do I want to be sure that I get the ratio correct as actual rolling circumference varies from manufacturer to manufacturer.

Thank you in advance for your help

Dan

I can tell you it's the same because your front to rear RC is too close to the 6100/7100.

Same as mine.

The trouble you run into is choosing new tires with RCs not matching.

Pick up 2" on the rear and loose a 1" on the front and now you are way off.

Look to manufacturer's claimed RC and do the math........using the formula you found.

I recently had my front rim crack and needed to replace my front tire on my B9200 which I believe has the same tires and ratio as your B8200. I was able to go to the (very affordable) 24x9.50-12 Carlisle Turfmaster/Multi-trac 4ply for less than $100. Surprisingly it shifts in and out of 4wd EASIER than with the OEM Firestone 24x8.50's that were on there! Right now I have one orig firestone and one carlisle up front and it tracks straight and has no issues. I wouldn't get super worried. Go with the OEM 13.6 oddball rear tires and switch to the Turfmaster for the front. The RC is very close.

Thank you ismurphy and bulldog,
bulldog you answered my next question, I was going to go with the 24x9.50-12 since it was a match except for width.

I found another post regarding the interactual ratio for a B8200 and the owner said that someone at Kubota told him the ratio for the 8200 was 1.6911 not a big difference between the two numbers, and, would like to confirm which is correct, if someone knows for sure I would be grateful. Thanks in advance.
