Ok gentlemen, new to me B8200 hst 4wd came with no 3PH stuff arms, control lever. Got all that stuff installed the lever and a lift arm to see if it would work. It does not work. I can move the lever to full up and full down the lift arm doesn’t move. I do seem to be able to make the relief valve work by moving the feedback while moving the lift lever. Where to start?

Yes, but what I haven’t done is put my splined lift arms on and all the other 3PH arms etc. I read and reread the wsm and realized that the 3 point just falls from implement weight, which there is none due to parts being off and paint drying. Do you happen to know what position to install the splined lift arms in? Thinking full up because that’s likely the position that it’s in. There is no key that I can see so it looks like they can be installed in any position on the splines. Plan is to install 3PH stuff and put something on to hopefully lower the arms and everything will work great.

correct, it won’t go down on its own, you, need weight in it.

In the full up position, I would put the lift arm on such that the link arms are up at about a 45 degree. All the way down the link arms ends are about 6” off the ground. If the link arms touch the ground the lift arms are too low.

Update, it works, mostly! So I messed with the drop rate valve open and closed a few times then left it open and tried to lower 3 point. Nothing for a couple days. Then my father in law comes over and we are looking around and I go to mess with that valve again and it opens up more then the 3 point drops??? So now it will go up and down very well, it creeps a little up with no weight but putting a foot on it will stop the creep. So now the drop control valve doesn’t appear to do anything. All the way closed and nothing the 3PH still drops fast. I think the valve was stuck or maybe a seal has broken. Am I correct that this valve can’t be repaired unless I take the top of the piston housing off? It looks like there is an internal clip along with the external one. Oh well I dont really need that to function.

The creep can be taken out by adjusting the three point feed back lever. ;)

On my BX, to fix the drop rate valve I would have to take the top cylinder case off

If may valve wasn’t working I would do it, I use that adjustment all the time.
