I'm preparing to do some repairs on my control as I have some leaks around the control levers and I need to replace some o rings.
I'm looking at the diagram and wondering if anyone else has had to remove the cover to expose them. With everything that is connected inside, it looks a little tricky.
Any advise out there on how to remove or dismantle would be much appreciated....

You will have to give us a picture of what your working on as there are quite a few different valves in that era.

Hey Wolfman; sorry i should have been more clear. The control valve for the three point hitch. Page reference 0T066 of the parts manual for tge B7200HSTD. I think there is only one valve.

Do you have the WSM (AKA service manual)?
Might or might not help you.
Some of the hydraulics diagrams are lacking to say the least.

It's not that hard normally to work on any of them, you just need to go at it slow and note where and how you take parts off.
Take pictures of anything that looks tricky to remember how to put it back together.

The only parts that need to be removed inside there are 2 cam's and one spool valve to replace the 2 O-rings.
You will need to remove the rear cover and remove the nut, spring holder and spring, then remove the front cover and pull the spool and all linkage out the front.
There won't be anything else rattling around in there to worry about.
Make sure you get or make new gaskets for both covers along with the 2 O-rings.

That's perfect Wolfman; I was worried about pulling out the spool. The nut and spring under the rear cover answers my questions. The banks again....
