I've a new-style B7100 HST which came with no top link. I've tried (2) aftermarket top links & they are miserable to use. Could someone who has an original Kubota top link measure the length of the body so I will know what to look for?

Thanks in advance
Roger

rentthis... B7100's are 30+ years old, he said new style. 😜

Fender76, the body should be 14", retracted 19" pin to pin.
You will find out with most top links you will need to narrow on end to fit the tractor side.

This will work for ya:

Fender - - I found the OEM Kubota top link to be a PITA on my BX.

Much happier with the aftermarket type Wolfman posted.

Grind the flanges on the ball to fit if necessary and drive the pin through the body. Work great.

Actually, I have the one pictured now and did have to grind one end. The threads are very poorly cut, so I usually need to hammer the lock sleeve to tighten it.

I had the OEM on my 7510 & it worked well, so having the correct measurment, I can watch for a used OEM.

Thanks for the replies

Sorry to hear that.

The one I like the most came from a Mahindra dealership, but I was able to put my hands on it when I bought it. It works fine and threads are okay. Guessing it came from the same or similar manufacturer.

The top links are all the same, more or less, for Cat 1. just keep an eye out and hopefully you'll find a good one. 👍
