B7100 rops.

hi guys
just a short one , will a ROPS from a B7100 fit a B6000.
I understand that it should fit a 5100/6100, I was thinking that since both the 5100/6100 are very close to a b6000, there may a chance it would fit.
any thoughts.

Hi Rob, does this mean you have or know where there is a ROPS for a B7100?
If you do,then Sorry there is no way it will fit so can you tell me where it is available from

In the U.S. Kubota is making big discounts on ROPS for older tractors to encourage folks to get them. You might see if something like that is being done there.

I guy i know has one and may be selling shortly, i'm looking for one myself and was led to believe that it would fit my B6000, if not he'll probably sell it through the normal channels.

I dont really know what they are selling for to be honest, never had any reason to buy one until recently.

I havent really agreed a price for the one i'm looking at either, as little as possible would be nice but i rekon he'll want around the £200 area, so until i'm sure it will fit , i'm keeping the cash close to hand.

Thanks for that info.when I first joined OTT I did see that ROPS were discounted on your side of the pond so contacted Kubota UK.
I received an email back from them stating that they did have an offer but was no longer available as the roll bars were no longer made for a B7100
I did try to place a price enquiry on Kubota US to see if they really were not made but because of all the info I had to enter the form could not be completed properly.
If anyone with a B7100 has the time I would be grateful if they could contact them with an enquiry just to satisfy my curiosity

I do have a set of technical drawings and specifications for ROPS so in the absense of aquiring as set and given the time to do it I will fabricate them.

thinking on- as it's a 1/2 detachable type I reckon it would go on a pallet (in bits)...
so if too far for you AND seller is prepared to strap it to a pallet then someone like Palletline or similar is your friend... for abt £GB 50ish maybe? or ebay man and van types may have a "return load" available??

I had a rops put on my B 7100 when I had it. My dealer installed it for $200. They told me that they were told by Kubota to encourage everyone who didn't have a rops to buy one and they also asked them to sell the rops at cost. Kubota said they didn't want the price raised up so people would be more likely to buy one.

well the answer to my original question is "no" , a B7100 rops will not fit a B6000.
It will fit a B6100 aswell as a 7100, but wont fit a 5100 or 6000 becuase of differences in the rear axletransmission cases .
If anyone knows please update this but on the basis that no one has yet i'll asume i'm correct my findings.

as far as i am aware this offer is not available in the UK, seems to be everywhere else though

hence why everyone over here is on the lookout for rops systems for their old machines, if one rops fitted all those models that would be great, but it dont work that way..

Hi Rob, although I have contacted kubota uk with no result,what do you think about the both of us and any other forum members from the UK that are in the same position ,asking again and sending them the link from Amishkingpin
I also know of someone who wants one for a B7000.
I have given up on the Rops on ebay as I reckon it must be a poorly designed bar to be suffering from what I thinks may be vibration stress cracking.
BTW Rob,let me know if the person you wrote about want to sell his Rops please!

Ok people I have at last bought a roll bar which I am picking up next Monday
I now need to get a seat belt and am hoping one of you guys with a B7100 can post a photo of where they have got theirs anchored to save me the time of working it out.
