As I was looking through so of the parts that came with my new to me tractor I noticed that there was a lever of some sort. I have determined it to be the differential lock. So I went yo the tractor and sure enough it was missing. I went to my manuals but the pictures are to dark to see how it fits. Can some one take a few pictures of how it is attached and post them for me?

You might go to messicks.com and fill out a request for the relevant parts diagram to be emailed to you.

Now, tell us about these parts that came with your tractor... does it run?

Yea I did try them but I never get anything back from them, and I did check my junk mail. The extra parts are the 3 point hitch, grill and the diff lock thing. It does seem to run pretty good. It does have a front loader on it and found one of the hydraulic cylinders leaks. Will try to post a pic soon.

Welcome to OTT... Good luck on your B7100. I have enjoyed having mine around for the past 28 years. They were built as little work horses and they are definitely built to last.

Tomorrow (they run out of bandwidth every month) you can go to Kubotabooks.com
You will want to download all the manuals for your tractor, there is a Owners manual, a service manual, a parts manual.
Make sure you get the one for your tractor as there is a E (2wd) and a D (4wd) manual.

So far I have downloaded 6 different manuals for the b7100 and still no luck seeing any detail on how the deferential lock goes on. Can some one take a few pics for me.:(

Here is a screen shot from the kubota parts page. I added some arrows. I tried to get some pictures from my HST but I can't get any thing that looks like something you can use. Maybe the pict from kubota will help. They do not have very clear pictures.

Here are some shots from my parts book. I would suggest you double check the numbers from the KUbota parts website because the numbers sometimes change.

Ok so I have several part now and was starting to put everything together and ran into an issue. In the diagram it shows that the dif lock pedal goes through the body and comes out the other side. Once through is looks like the brake lock goings on then after a few nuts the rod. In my picture the number 1 shows where the pedal comes through on mine and the number 2 showers where my brake lock is. Also on the bottom of the foot rest it looks like the pedal rod goes through a u shaped piece. But if I put the pedal into the that the bolt hole that attach the rest to the body do not line up. Any help or pics would be welcomed. Oh and just to remained everyone this is on a B7100 old style.

The picture is a poor picture.
The rod that goes to the back of the differential for the lock has nothing to do with the brake lock (Your #2), it just looks like that in the picture.
The rod goes to the rod (Your #1) that comes from the other side.

Do you also have the brake rod that goes from the pedal to the rear?

I can't get you a picture because I am away from home visiting my granddaughter. However what you are missing is what the Kubota parts book refers to as "lever Diff Lock" It is part # 210 in the diagram I posted above and part # 017 in the diagram you posted. It is a short lever that goes on the end of the shaft you highlited in red in your picture. I believe it is held on with a roll pin through the shaft. The short lever should be Kubota part-66204-42880.
