I was sure I had seen this information before somewhere, but cannot find it. Does anyone know the size socket required for the front crankshaft nut on a B7100? I have found the part number as:
Kubota 15261-23360 NUT, CRANKSHAFT

I just need to put a socket on the nut to check if the motor is seized on a friend's tractor, and am not sure I have something big enough. I recall something about people making them, but, again, can't seem to find it.

Thanks in advance.

I'm not sure, I haven't even seen the machine yet. Is that 46 mm nut common? I know the engine they used that socket on is much larger than the 7100.

Just looked in WSM and has 29 next to the picture of the socket so maybe its 29mm

I'd measure mine, but I'd have to remove the FEL hydraulic pump, pump mount, pump guard, (2) couplers, driveshaft, and the coupler mount from the front of the pulley in order to uncover it. Sorry, maybe someone without an FEL can measure theirs. My manual shows the nut, but doesn't say what size it is.

Thank you all for the help. I just found out we won't need one. (He needed to see if the engine was seized or not, since the starter wouldn't turn.)
