My recently purchased B6000 Kubota 4x4 tractor has a Kubota B211 front end loader attached. The factory manual I received with the tractor says the rear end should take 80 90 gear oil, however the b211 front end loader also takes its hydraulic fluid from the rear end. I had the valve and a couple of the lifting Rams rebuilt at a local hydraulic shop and they said I should run AW 68 fluid with the front end loader. After some internet searching I am still thoroughly confused on the best fluid to use. Even my local Kubota dealer could not give me a definitive answer based on the age of the tractor according to the guys in the parts Department. So I will ask you gentlemen will I be okay using the AW 68 fluid in the rear end? Or is there a heavier weight oil that could be a compromise between hydraulic and rear end oil? The bucket does not have an external pump and uses the tractor's hydraulic pump to operate it. Thank you in advance for any advice.
