B2650 third function connection issues

B2650 with the factory third function.

My grill guard is the forward position, it seems from extensive use of the grapple as the the loader has a little side to side play and the hose connections come very close to the guard that it made contact and loosened or broke this elbow connection.

I have yet to mess with it, just pressure washed the area to get clear *photos.

Can I just retighten this elbow connection? Or is this a pressure fitting? Again I haven’t messed with them yet so asking the hive to save myself some time.

Also going to move the guard back one spot and trim my DIY grill guard a bit to avoid this happening again.

I would try to tighten it, what do you have to lose.
Be VERY careful when checking for leaks, hydraulics are high pressure and can penetrate skin very easily.

Ok. Tighten things all and it***8217;s all good now.

Second issues; to avoid this from happening again I need to tilt my grill guard back.

I thought these guards had two positions. Guess I was wrong with my model tractor B2650. It has two hole on the guard but only one lines up.


Solution is to tilt the guard back as shown in the photo and drill out a new hole.


Any concern or issues from drilling out a new hole on the the gray frame?

I have no idea. That***8217;s the way it came from factory.

All you***8217;re seeing is that I removed the back bolts and tilted it a few degrees to show where I would like to drill new holes. But it was always covering the serial plate.


It***8217;s the only place it would make sense for it to be. There is no other pre drilled holes for this.

I wonder if they stuck the wrong guard on at the dealer, you shouldnt have to worry about it hitting anything

Anyone know the proper part number for the guard on b2650?

I can***8217;t even find a diagram for it

I removed the guard and I***8217;m drilling out new holes. Will update with pictures once complete
