B2650 50hr Service +

I'm want to go the extra mile on my 50hr service and change ALL fluids and filters.

Could you all double check my list, i'm going to try my local dealer tomorrow morning or just order from Messicks if the local guys don't have everything.


- Fuel Filter
- Engine Oil filter
- Engine Oil @ 4.2qts Kubota SAE30
- Transmission Oil HST Filter
- Hydraulic Oil Filter
- Transmission Oil HST Oil @ 4.0gals Kubota Super UDT-2
- Front Axle Oil @ 5.0qts Kubota Super UDT-2

Am I missing anything?

5 gallons in the front axle?

Does the 2650 have 2 filters for the hyrdaulic system?

Add the hydraulic oil filter. There's 2 hydraulic oil filters, transmission (HST) filter and hydraulic oil filter.
And the front axle takes way less than 5 gallons UDT oil. It uses 5 US quarts, and you can use way less expensive 80w/90 gear oil in the axle.
Why have you decided to replace all the hydraulic oil now instead of at 400 hours as indicated in the manual? Are you trying to address a specific problem?
Either way, when you remove the hydraulic filters look carefully for metal bits/shavings on the filter or in any escaped or drained UDT fluid and record machine hours and photograph it to show Kubota dealer. It may affect any warranty issues down the road.

Another recommendation for Synthetic Fluids..
Remember to grease all fittings and Torque Wheel Lug Nuts & Torque FEL lug nuts/bolts..

Darn, forgot to mention, blow out/clean Radiator Screen & Air Filter..

One thing about blowing or washing the radiator DO NOT USE YOUR PRESSURE WASHER, your garden hose will clean it out well enough,, just sayin

You’re doing what I did for my BX at the time 6 years ago.
Only thing I would comment is that the front axle may not take the specified volume. It comes up here on OTT periodically. It just doesn’t drain everything out, so takes less on refill. Just watch level for a while after...

Will that affect the warranty?


I use Rotella T6 in the super duty but wouldn***8217;t want to mess up my warranty with kubota.

You have it exactly correct. I have done mine many times with 1100 hrs on it. When putting in the new oils, put in less than the quantities speced out, start and recheck, to top off. Also remember to check belts, hoses, and lugnut torque on all of the wheels.
Also, wax your toolbox!! Haha.

It will not affect your Kubota warranty.
