I am trading in my 8 year old B2620 TLB for a brand new B2650 TLB. The dealer gave me a great deal on the trade - but one question involves replacing the 60 inch light material bucket with a 60 inch standard material bucket with a cutting edge (the one that normally comes on a B26 TLB).

Is that B26 bucket going to be too heavy... do you think its a good move?

The heaviest use for the bucket will moving gravel and stone along a logging road up to 1/2-3/4 mile each way. My land is also very rocky and I dinged up my old bucket moving large rocks. I am getting the quick attach set up - and will have a quick attach pallet fork set up... plus the 3rd function valve for a future grapple, so I have some options for the rocks I did not have with the old B2620..

The cost between the two buckets is negligible - and I like the idea of a stronger bucket with a replaceable cutting edge. The big question is the weight of the bucket... reducing what I'll be able to lift.

OK then... hearing no objections I present the heavy duty 60 inch loader bucket with cutting edge on a brand new B2650.

Very heavy... but rock solid...

Looks good. I use mine mostly for snow but that replaceable edge would be a nice option. Dealer didn't bring that up when we discussed uses for the new tractor.

Looks good. I wish Kubota offered a bucket with bolt on cutting edge when I bought my B2920. Did you get a backhoe for this tractor? Any other attachments?

BAP - Yes, here's the photo:

I have the 3rd function valve on back order, and I bought the quick attach pallet forks. Next will be a grapple...

Also - took a dozen loads of stone today - full to the top - no problem lifting with the heavy loader bucket.

Whichever option you go with, I recommend the Piranha tooth bar instead of the factory replaceable edge. It cuts into a pile of material much better.

B2650 is very nice choice. Love mine.
I'm not a big Turf tire fan, but see you have tractor parked in grassy area, so must be needed. I went Industrial.
Regarding front bucket, I kept the light weight standard (250#'s +/-), but since I was also getting a Front Grapple, I added a Kubota Model L2244, 4n1 bucket (450#'s) with the 60 inch reversible cutting edge. Lose about 200#'s lifting capacity, but very useful tool, and only take few minutes to put on Standard one for straight material loading activities when required.
The Land Pride PFL 2042 Pallet Forks also handy.

DWLG1958 - sounds like a nice setup. I have a small apple orchard that transitions to my yard (or vice versa) so I am concerned with tearing up the turf.

My B2620 - which I had for 8 years - had turf tires - Did alot of research originally and I have had no problem what so ever with traction - I even plow snow with them. Actually my RTV and my GR also have turf tires... The RTV has gone off-road in some pretty deep snow without getting stuck. I am careful to stay out of the mud....
