Does anyone have any experience with the PTO section of the transmission on a B2400HST. I was mowing and the bearing above the pto cover shattered and knocked a whole in the pto cover. I took the pto cover off and noticed that the two bearings above the pto shattered and need replacing. I believe it is called the idle shaft. I need to know how much trouble this is to replace the idle shaft, two bearings and gear. I will also have to rebuild and replace the mid pto cover and the guts inside if it. The kubota dealer wants 2k for the job. Has ANYONE ever done one of these, if so please post back to me. THANK YOU for reading and trying to help.
