I have a question regarding tires and wheels.
I currently have a machine with turf tires. My dealer told me that the wheels for turfs are different that those for R1 or R4 tires. What I do primarily for most of the year is yard work and mowing so the turfs are perfect and do little damage. What I would like to do is get another set of tires and wheels, either R1 or R4 to swap out when I want to do some rough work in the woods on my property, primarily to save the turfs. I checked with my dealer and to buy a set of R1's with wheels would be about $1300. Wow.
Has anyone found a better (cheaper) source for wheels and tires for their Kubota?
I know Kubota is proud of their product, as I am, but that seems a little pricey.
I was just wondering if any of you have gone off brand to save a few $$$.

You might want to contact the sales group at your local dealership and ask for Wholegoods pricing on the tires/rims you desire.

Below is an example of wholegoods pricing for R4's and was accurate in 2015.

This is typically one of the more economical options when needing to purchase tires and wheels.
