Hey guys I was thinking about adding a amsoil bypass to my MX5100, I have 80 hrs on the tractor, I do alot of bush hog work and am sucking a ton of dirt into the system. Does anyone have any insight if this would be a smart move or not. Thanks for all the help.

I can tell you that the by-pass system filters down to 1/10th of a micron which will all but eliminate engine wear. I personally don't have one but I know several people that do and they really like the results. You would have the highest level of filtration possible so I don't see why it would be a bad thing. Sorry I can't be more help.
Thanks for the reply bulldog. There website says the bypass filters 2 microns absolute. My question is do I need to worry about my oil pressure being lower? Also where are your buddies mounting there setups?
It will not hurt your oil pressure. The by-pass system is designed so that if the filters should stop up from the amount of contamination it collect the system will act like a open center hyd and let the oil free flow around the filter. It's been a while but if memory serves correct the by-pass system only has about 10% of the oil flow directed to it at any given time.
Most of my friends that run them are on ton trucks and dump trucks. One guy has one mounted on his NH tractor. He mounted it on the inside of the loader frame up high so it would be out of the way. As far as I know it works great on the tractor.

I have 2 bypass filters on my Bad Boy zt that I added. It has 2 pumps , one for each wheel. They are 2 micron and are bypass types. The mower has 2 factory filters but I added these bypass filters. I also have them on all my vehicles for the transmissions. Clean, clean ,clean fluid.
I guess your just doing the single remote setups on all of your equip? On the return line do you just use the self tapping hollow screw into the oil pan?
The ones I use are not amsoil. They are made for hydralic and transmission lines. They are used on the return line to the sump or in the case of transmissions, the cooler return. Pressure is less than 100 lbs.
