Have had the tractor a little over a month now. Has about 25 hr on it. I couldn't be happier. Coming off a 60 yr old jd. I have pretty tough bush hogging and it handles the 6 ft mower effotlessly. Never had a fel before and i have found countless things to do with that gadget. I had a regeneration at about 15 hr, which seemed early, but just kept working and it did its thing. I am an old guy and it has made my life a lot better. So far, so good

Congrats! Glad you're enjoying your new tractor.

I have to decide between a MX5800 and M6060/7060. Pretty hard choice.

I feel the same as you about my new MX5800. I also came from a non-FEL 56 year old tractor. I love the 5800!

Gents,

I'm considering a 5800 and if you would not mind, would you share what you paid? I have a dealer quoting 27k and a 1200 discount for cash. Does hat seem reasonable?
I should note I'll be trading in my L3130

Much appreciated.

The MX5800 at 27k plus cash discount is about what I paid as well. It is when I added all the other stuff that things got pricey, but I am very well satisfied with my setup. It is amazing the change that having this tractor has brought my tired old body!

I paid 25k and change. I bought it at the state fair and was supposed to be special state fair pricing. Sounding like it was. Maybe they have a similar deal at your fair.
