I am in the process of buying a 1995 7030,and by the pics i can not figure out the shift pattern. Tractor data says 12 f x 4 r.

Anyone know or have this tractor ,any help would be appreciated .

I'm guessing that is a M7030?

You basically have 4 forward speeds and 1 reverse- but have another selector for the range you wish to be in four more selections.

so 1st in low - you might be able to walk faster! Then again 4th in high, road ready!

4 x 4 = 16. Must be 3 forward gears, 1 reverse gear and 4 ranges.

that tranny has 16 forward and 4 rev......

I got the tractor home and it is 8 f x 8 r ,tractor data is wrong.Also they were wrong on the height,now it will not fit in the garage !!I wanted to put in a 9 ' door anyway LOL
I am looking for parts for the cab ( latch for back window and shocks to hold doors and rear window open ).

Never heard of 8 forward and 8 rev (would make it a M7040 !)....then again - there are lots of stuff out there I aint never heard oF!

Take a picture of the shift pattern and the tractor - maybe this is not what it claims to be.

Does this tractor have a squared off front end? OR rounded front end?

M7040DT: 4WD ROPS sync-shuttle ?
M7040HD: 4WD ROPS hyd-shuttle ?

It has High and Low ,with 4 speed main and manual shuttle .Serial # M7030T-70995.It does have the squared off front end.

I come to find out the cab is a Litchfield ser # cp188-20-18.I emailed the company,and was told they had a fire in 2000,and these manuals burned.Does anyone have a copy off this manual.
