Just had 50 hour service at my Kubota dealer.
I noticed on work order that 70000-10201 kubota 10-30 oil was used.
The operators manual says to use DPF compatible oil (CJ-4) for this engine.
I goggled the above oil that is now in my tractor & I do not think it is CJ-4 compatible.
Is this a problem? Tractor us still at dealers for some accessories.
If the above oil is not correct for this Tier 4 engine then what Kubota oil is correct and it's part number.
Thanks!!!!

Somewhere on another thread, it was posted NOT TO USE the CJ-4.......then ON THE WEB (kubota) site there was a note that is was a misprint or something....and it was ok to use it ..............

Kubota has to back WHAT they stick in it, it is under warranty........

Mystery solved!

This part number(Kubota 10-30 engine oil...) is now rated CJ-4 API Service.
The quart of oil I had was from last year and did not have the CJ-4 rating.
Service dept did use the CJ-4 rated oil for my service.

Owner did swap out my year old quart(unopened) with a new CJ-4 quart.

Bottom line is the dealership serviced the tractor correctly and received an
"education" on engine oils & that service departments do keep up with the changes in tractor technology.

Also having the rear tires ballast with RimGuard.

I saw this with my B2620 also. The owners and shop manuals say to not use CJ-4 oil in non-DPF equipped engines, which is bull because all the new engine oils are backwards compatible.
Then by chance I looked at my jug of Kubota branded 10W30 and it is CJ-4, LOL.
