3901 Torsion Spring for Parking Brake

Hello:

The subject spring came loose that provides tension to engage disengage the parking brake light when the brake pedal is activated. I purchased a new spring thinking the exsisting one was damaged. The new and existing one are the same.

I have poked around in the web and YouTube to see how this spring should be reconnected. No luck. I am hoping someone could help share some light on this one.

Yeah I found this one too. Thanks for the reply anyway. It's a bit frustrating knowing that its likely a simple fix. Just not seeing it though

Would a top side pic looking down through the step deck add any more clues?

With this pic and your comment, I successfully reattached the spring today.

Working from below did not prove to be productive. It took removing the transmission cover, and the right step deck to gain easier access from above. Smaller hands would have helped too but, got er done.
