3 point hitch lever

I have a B2601 and just can't get enough of it. I was messing around with the 3 point hitch lift lever today and noticed that it works kinda weird. The control lever goes from zero to 9 it it doesn't even start to pick up the hitch until about six. That doesn't seem to leave very much room for fine adjustment. Is this normal or is there some way to set it up so the lever works throughout the whole range? Because I know everyone loves pictures, I thought I would post a random picture from today.

Does it raise all the way to the top?

It's pretty common for them to work like what you describe. Main thing is it goes all the way up. Other than that it is what it is.

Pretty much the same on my b2601. Goes up and down like it should so I guess it's normal!

Yeah, it works fine. It goes all the way up and down. I just thought it a little strange to have all that lever throw that doesn't do anything.

Thanks for the reply. I'm glad to here that my b2601 isn't the only one. It's not really a problem, I guess I was just looking for something else to tinker with.
