Is anyone aware of a kit or personal modification to the lift actuator that would allow the raising or lowering of the 3 ph from the rear of the tractor, like the Kioti system....this would be safer and much easier when hooking up 3 point equipment. Any ideas guys, pictures or drawings ??

Oh, you DON'T want to hear what my Father, and Grandfather (rest his soul) would've had to say to you on this topic... I suggested the same thing ONCE, and only once! LOL!

So, to summarize old school advice, practice and be able to get all your implements in position without leaving the seat. Then you only need to get down to hook up.

Now, new school thinking is a little different. You could always drill a hole in the top of your 3PT handle and use a cheater rod that you magnetically stick to the ROPS to grab and manipulate the lever from the rear. Don't ask, seen this done and it was pretty clever and cheap. A second set of actuators is not cheap but you could go to electrically actuated system and just put a second joystick back there.

You could move everything over to a quick hitch variant, then it's all old school work but pretty easy hook up.

My personal opinion is that 3pt Hitches are desperately out of date for what they are and what they do. We really haven't had a revolution of thought on that back end for almost a century. So if you come up with something new, please let us know.

welll yeah.... but some operations you don't want to be in the seat for part of the work anyway. For example a tree puller like some have made here. Back up to tree. Implement on 3pt clamp/chains etc to tree (off tractor operation on many) then use 3pt lift to pull up, operator cuts some roots, then pull up more before hopping in seat and driving away pulling up the rest. Another would be using log Arch to place log in best pull position before hopping in the seat to drag it off. These would be a good example of part of the task working best in an off the seat operation.
