2601 tiller help

Hey I have a 2601 and I am trying to hook up my king kutter rotary tiller. Looks like the shaft is 1/2 inch to an inch too long. Should I cut more thanks.

By shady I guess you mean shaft. Just make sure it has enough slack that it can't bottom out in any position, upper or lower and you should be fine.

Just be sure to cut the same amount, off each half of the shaft...

thinking about cutting 3 inches then hook up and see can always cut more. Any thoughts thanks.
