Well lets try it this way. Since I cant find a transmission does any one have a 6100 without a motor or maybe just a bad motor they want to sell?

Tractor is split. Bearing for reverse is gone and it did quite a bit of damage to the case! Missed one from the West Kentuck Tractor Parts by just a few hours! And it was at a great price too! Just have to keep looking.

So not worth the work it would take to make the swap! My biggest concern was the 2 to 4 wheel drive conversion! I can get a tractor with everything except the motor and sheet metal. But it is a 2 wheel drive tractor.

So I found two transmissions one Hydrostatic out of a 2 wheel drive and a manual shift for a 4 wheel drive. Trying to decide the best way to go! With that said here are my questions: with the hydrostatic how hard is it to convert from a two wheel drive to four wheel drive. Price is about the...

Do you still have the transmission? It is a manual correct? Also if anyone knows will a B7100 transmission fit in a B6100?

Clutch is fine Shifts in and out no problem. Happens when I am working it . Going to pop the cover off and see if maybe I can see something. Looking at the manual should be no big deal. Aslong as the parts are avaible!

Have thought about a rebuild. Never done a transmission of any kind! Not sure it is something I want to try without help. But then again can't be any harder than doing amotor can it? Guess I have some reading to do. Thanks everyone!

Looking for a replacment 6 speed tranny. Mine is grinding really bad in 4th and 5th gear.

It is the full blade. I only have one spring on mine. Will see what happens when we get some snow.

Lock is disengaged, can get it to move a small amount but still will not lay down like it should. Guess I will have to see if it will loosen up after use. Have to get some snow first I guess!

Have the meyers springs but they seem to be to heavy. It will not trip.

Looking for the trip springs for the blade, the ones that allow the blade to lay down when it gets caught on something.

Took the cylinder into the local shop. Waiting for them to get back to me. The bore of the cylinder is where the damage is the rams them selves looked good. Looks like something was in there and just dug into the bore. May also be what caused the pump to go bad. Got this tractor from my Dad not...

Looking for hydraulic cylinders for the front blade. Pulled mine apart and the inside of the cylinder is bad! Wanted to just replace the seals but no luck. Anyone have a good cylinder they want to get rid of please let me know.

Ray I have one that came off of a B7100 on my B6100. Works great!

Do you have a hydraulic pump for the 6000. Guess need to know if it is the same aa a B6100 also. Mine is the 4 bolt one.
