Best possible most comfortable replacement seat out there?

What do you recommend? I turn around a lot and put my knee on the seat to operate a stump grinder. Don't think a swivel seat is an option. No room plus I have to keep mo ving forward and backward. Stock seat is actually fine for that but when I put the mower on, the seat bottoms out all the...

    3 point Stump Grinder? brands/models?

Shocks for my stump grinder to compensate for some of the odd contours and roots I have to set the stabilizer base on while grinding. Helps to take some of the shake and rocking out while grinding. Don't mind the color, they'll get dirty.

You're right. I should put the dump truck on the trailer and pull it with the Kubota. LOL!

    3 point Stump Grinder? brands/models?

Turns CW. 3 sets of 9 teeth cover about 6" plus 2 at 30 deg front and back and 3 at 45 deg front and back and 2 on diameter. Takes 3/4" wide teeth w/5/8" threaded stem.

Towing with 97 GMC 6.5 Diesel

First thing I did when I got her was put the injection pump control module in a cooler place and replace a bunch of solenoids. I also had someone that knew what they were doing time the injection pump. Like you said, not a power house but it does it's job. Didn't pay $50k for it either. Keeping...

Towing with 97 GMC 6.5 Diesel

It's an auto. It's already got dual thermos although Heath found the single system force more coolant through the radiator instead of recirculating back through the engine. Their kit for the dual thermo setup includes an orifice to restrict the recirculating and force more through the radiator...

    Using Cruise Control - Yikes!

Thanks, didn't know. I'm still a little confused since the brake pedals were on the right on my L3700 and are now on the left on my MX. Always use the hydro pedal to stop.

Towing with 97 GMC 6.5 Diesel

That's why I put parentheses around mountain because in the west, northwest it would barely be a foothill. LOL! Yea, I had no idea when I bought it, it had that kind of issue towing. I'm told if you keep it cool, it is actually a decent motor. I'm the only one to tow with it as it had no hitch...

    Using Cruise Control - Yikes!

I just put my foot back on the hydrostatic foot pedal and pushed back and it disengaged. My MX doesn't have a clutch and I didn't check if the brake pedal disengages it. The handle is right beside the seat, just forgot I had it on. The handle basically works like the foot pedal but doesn't come...

Towing with 97 GMC 6.5 Diesel

I've been towing over a 1200 ft (mountain) pulling my tractor L3700 and SG attach for a couple years. I have an older GMC 1 ton dump truck (8k#) and the trailer and my old tractor was totaled about (6.5k#). Over heating was a problem from the beginning so I invested in a Heath cooling upgrade...

    Using Cruise Control - Yikes!

I decided to try out the cruise control the other day mowing. It's great, saves the leg on the hydro pedal all the time. Got a little complacent when I headed toward the garage and forgot it was on. Dang near ran through the side of the garage. Scared the crap out of me thinking for a second...

    3 point Stump Grinder? brands/models?

Sure, here you go. It's world class now. On the MX5800 I can compete with the big boys plus nothing like having a seat on your stump grinder.:p The painted one is a new factory wheel, the raw one is mine. Now after 6 months use, it shows virtually no wear after grinding hundreds of stumps.

    3 point Stump Grinder? brands/models?

I bought a Stumpblaster 3p24 a couple years ago and put it behind a 37hp/30hp PTO. I grind stumps professionally but wanted an easy way to cleanup when done. (front loader) This machine was rated at 30-50hp at PTO. My tractor at the time, being at the low end did a sufficient job but I had to...

    50 hr UDT change question

Ok, I did the 50 hr. maintenance last Sunday. MX5800HST Read owners manual and could not find a diagram on drain plug location. (Have since found it). Anyhow, I pulled the lowest and only drain plug I found and only got about 7-1/2 gallons out of it. Pulled both filters and got a little more but...
