    B2601 theft deterent

Here in the UK few are legally armed, and your in all sorts of trouble if you stand up against a thief with the law, it's madness! Any detterant either on the machine or in its surroundings has to be a good thing. Some over here are quite imaginative in how they set up methods to slow up a...

You could tape or tie a bit of cotton sheet on the water pump vent and round your rad cap, or hose fittings, run it hard for a day and check for staining.

What stupid thing have you done today

Glad you got away without too much of a hurt Skeets, I have seen the results of a moment's loss of attention a few times, it can be pretty real. I always carry blood clot bandages and a tourniquet when I'm climbing, lifesavers for sure. Protective trousers have saved my leg in the past, as...

    Tree damage ?

I do RCW, have a look at them over the next 2,/3 years, if they are responding you can always apply a little formative pruning to get some shape and structure going on.:)

    Tree damage ?

Even though I spend my days climbing and cutting trees, mostly to negate litigation, I am a bit of a conservationist at heart, as long as it doesn't compound issues later.:)

    Tree damage ?

Valid points there about replacing, or if you have room and wish to see how these get on, plant another couple nearby, you can take out the wounded trees anytime, and they may well surprise you..

    fence row

Glycophosphate is really only effective when plants are in leaf, as they absorb the toxin into their vascular system through the the leaf, where the bark is not a part of this system. By applying it to the cambium on stumps it will get into the vascular system and hence the roots, more so on...

    fence row

Regarding the stumps, concentrated roundup will get them, make sure to get it on the cambium, or where the bark adjoins the wood, cover after treating to prevent it getting rained off, and you might want to treat again in early spring when things get moving.:)

    Large amount of SPAM

Many thanks to the moderators and all who help with the upkeep here, that is why I supported the site with the small payment early in my membership, for the cost of a couple of gallons of diesel, I have gleaned info that has saved me hundreds of UK pounds, and got to enjoy myself in the...

Vegetable garden: tiller or plow or disc or ???

I run a subsoiler through to break up the gravel base in my ground, and a rotary tiller after a spreading of well rotted wood chip, which I have an abundance of being a tree worker, to loose up and feed the top soil.
