    Deleting dpf/seven state.

mine always seems to want to regen at the most inappropriate time. last regen was 2 days ago at 96 hours. finished working heading back to the house, low on fuel and lightning from an approaching thunderstorm, yeah that's when the light came on. i just parked it and did regen the next evening

    Working during break in period

regen is going to be a lot higher than pto speed so be prepared for that. you will need about 20 minutes of work to do during that time.

    I hate my new L3901

also remember the dpf is vertical of the engine,if it was below the head there would be no contaminated oil from regin. but it probably wouldn't meet emissions

    I hate my new L3901

damit, i guess i jinxed my self, 81 hours and regin again, so far about every 15 hours. i was coming back from the back of my property and the light came on so i drove around in circles for 20 minutes at about 2700 rpms looking for a golf ball that i lost

some people think if you are not pulling a 6 row plow, you shouldn't have a tractor

    I hate my new L3901

the3301 is a homeowner tractor, cutting fire wood, finish mowing and moving stuff with the forks. there is no need to run at 2000+ rpm. leveling a flower bed next to the house in low and first gear requires lo speed. do you think the tractor needs to run at maximum capacity to do this job .

    I hate my new L3901

that is what a 33hp tractor does

    I hate my new L3901

comparing gas and diesel is like apples and oranges. running the tractor at high rpms causes the wear and tear. in the future the emission system is going to foul, eventually the dpf will no longer be able to clean it's self. you need to check for contaminated oil after regin, some fuel can back...

    I hate my new L3901

yes you have to burn more fuel and put unnecessary wear and tear on you tractor to meet epa regulations. also you get to pay more for your tractor and have more maintenance issues.

L2501 acts like it's starving for fuel

you will still have the DPF and have to go through the regen cycle, my tractor has 70 hours now (ABOUT10 A MONTH) i fell like an idiot running my tractor at 2700 rpms just to drive to the back of my property. i would be curious to see how much more fuel that i am using compered to the 2501

L2501 acts like it's starving for fuel

huh, i was wrong about the computer after looking at the parts diagram. there must be a different emissions standard for that hp because the Kubota web site says that it meets tier4

L2501 acts like it's starving for fuel

going to have to take it to the dealer. there is no OBD11 diagnostic ports to retrieve data from the computer or any way to monitor sensors in real time or data log. i think all computer controlled engines should have OBD ports like the auto industry

new kubota filter has no magnet

i'm going to skip the magnet. i just bought a 93mm socket type filter wrench for the oil filter, i was lucky that the hydraulic filter broke loose before i cut it in half with the chain type vice grips. why are the filters on so tight from the factory

new kubota filter has no magnet

i'm changing the hydraulic filter on my 3301dt the dealer gave me filter HH32-16770. i opened the box at the parts counter and said this one has no magnet and the parts man said kubota changed that. this morning i took the original filter off and spun on the new filter so i could look at the...
