    BX fuel tank strainer

I ordered and received this filter for my BX24. It is a perfect fit, like others have said, like it was made for it. I tried one of the filter in the funnel things, which worked like crap. The flow was so slow I gave up trying to fill my tank. That and it was so flimsy that I couldn't depress...

BX24 MMM height adjustment won't go into TOP position

I have had my BX24 for 8 years and I've never been able to get the MMM into Top Position. I have been using a BXpanded Under Armour plate since destroying my HST fan the first day of ownership. I finally decided to investigate this problem and don't know how to fix this problem. I am familiar...

    Bx24 broken engine support bracket

A couple of years ago I had to replace three of the four engine mounting rubbers. I had been unusually hard on the tractor moving very large tree trunks so I wasn't really surprised but it required not only the mounts but the fan and fan shroud. Recently I found the left engine mount bracket...

    Grease Zerks

You may need to take the entire joint apart as the blockage might be at the hole in the pin that directs grease into the joint. No matter what method you use you need to get all those joints taking grease and after that grease them often to prevent repeat problems.

BX24 loss of RPM at random times.

Another update with an idea. Another few days of using my tractor and still no problems. I was trying to figure out what to do it the problem continued short of pulling the fuel tank. I thought about putting a tee fitting in the fuel before the first filter and run it up beside the seat...

    BX25D Sucked Up Water...

My son did the same thing to our BX23 a couple of years ago in our pond. Change of air filter and pull the glow plugs. Crank it over a few times until you don't get any more water out. Put the glow plugs back in and start it up. I've had no long lasting problems.

BX24 loss of RPM at random times.

Update. I have gone through a whole tank of fuel without it losing power/RPM's. I 'm hopefully optimistic that the problem is solved. Even if it returns, blowing some air into the fuel line to clear a blockage sure is easier than pulling the fuel tank.

BX24 loss of RPM at random times.

I was hoping that the blockage would be broken up and rinsed out but I didn't see anything come out. This was so simple to do compared to removing the tank that I will try this a couple more times before I resort to removing the tank.

BX24 loss of RPM at random times.

My BX24 has been suffering from the loss of RPM problem for a while now. Not very often, once every half hour of use. So I let the tractor run almost out of fuel and decided to check fuel flow. I disconnected the fuel line from the first filter and got absolutely no fuel flow out of the hose. I...

    BX24 Fuel Issue

What is the name of the company? Can they be bought from that company? Does it stay in the tank all the time and you just put the cap on right over it?

    BX24 Fuel Issue

Does anyone have a source for such a thing? I would be interested.

    BX24 Fuel Issue

I plead ignorance but isn't the tank plastic, what about the tank would make you think it might fail at some point?

    BX24 Fuel Issue

So at some point I am going to try the easy route and disconnect the hose from the first filter and drain the tank and try blowing into that hose back into the tank. from what you have learned trough your ordeal do you think that this might help the situation?

    BX24 Fuel Issue

So you didn't really find the problem? You said that you didn't really see any crud come out of the tank. I still have my problem. I used my tractor and after about a half hour it did the low RPM thing. It's not anywhere as bad as yours was but it is annoying and worrisome.

    BX24 Fuel Issue

I already did that to my tractor once. I had to replace the HSD fan, and that looks to be just about the same amount of work. Did you try to blow out the blockage before you pulled the tank? I wonder if that would have broke up the blockage and let it drain out the hose.

    BX24 Fuel Issue

I am very interested with what you find. My BX24 is doing the same thing, but not as often. I have changed the air filter with no change and I have replaced the fuel filters and it hasn't happened since but I haven't used my tractor too much since I changed the fuel filters. I'm in a wait and...

    Loss of power

So I replaced the air filter a few days ago and the loss of power occurred again yesterday. Today I replaced both fuel filters and we'll see what effect that has. I did open up both of the old filters and they looked pretty clean but I'm not sure if a visual inspection would tell me much.

    Loss of power

So to answer the question, yes the fuel pump is working. The tractor runs fine for 99% of the time. The RPM drop happens usually only once while I'm using the tractor. So I blew out the air filter a couple of days ago and ordered a new one. It was quite dirty. I used the tractor yesterday and it...

    Loss of power

I think I must have had a stroke or something when I wrote that. What I was trying to say is that the safety switch for the seat if activated would just kill the engine. The effect that I'm getting is a severe drop in RPM's down to almost idle for 10 to 15 seconds and then the RPM's go back to...

    Loss of power

I do keep log books for all of my equipment. I white board with the next serviceable is a good idea. As far as the seat safety switch, the tea for doesn't just did co.poetry like a safety switch being made, the rpm's slow to about idle speed for about 10 seconds then go back to normal.
