    Grind Sound/Feel Under Feet

I have a L4060 and I notice sometimes a sound that might be similar to yours and it seems to be when going over rough terrain, but to me it sounds like fluid cavitation or something like that. I'm not sure and it's pretty intermittent. Mine only has 18 hours on it. I've torqued everything. Let...

    Experienced Welders...

Re: Experienced Weldors... I have an 05 Sierra with only a couple studs left on both manifolds. It's not leaking too bad yet, but I'm not looking forward to replacing them. I did the brakes a couple weeks ago and when I was hammering off the rotor with am 8 pound maul two of the nuts with the...

    LA 525 Loader Issue

Mine looks straight to my eye but the outside measurement on one side is 2.75 inches and the other side is slightly over 3 inches. Be nice to measure a couple of them lined up at a dealership to be able to find out if there are discrepancies right from the factory. I use my loader pretty hard...

    Appropriate RPMs - L3301

On mine it's the opposite, in auto mode whenever the key is turned on and you have to press a button to inhibit. I thought this was the new way and the old way was that it was normally in inhibit mode and you had to press a button to put it in auto.

    Appropriate RPMs - L3301

I thought about what would happen as well if it tried to regen as soon as i start my tractor on a -20 morning. Would i be able to warm it up first? I wish i would have been on my tractor when the lights started coming on to see what the sequence is.

    Appropriate RPMs - L3301

I believe as long as the requirements are met, meaning rpm's are high enough, the system regens without any input from the operator. You can inhibit the regen by pressing the inhibit button, but besides that it will do it on it's own, as long as the rpm's are high enough. I'm not sure if I'm...

    Fuel for thought L3301

I saw that on the 60 series and am very jealous. It feels like it's pretty close to being a safety issue trying to fuel my tractor. The ground fill tank like on your machine is the answer.

    Fuel for thought L3301

I'm not sure I understand what you mean exactly, but a 2x6 across the fel arms seems like a great idea. I'm going to see how I can make this work for me.

    Appropriate RPMs - L3301

Thanks, this is a good response. As far as backing off the rpm's, you feel like having it too low would disrupt the regen? I would have thought you'd just get the increase rpm light, increase till it goes out and your good. In my situation with the tractor only sitting an idling, i had to...

    Fuel for thought L3301

Man I hate trying to lean over the fel with one of these new fuel cans standing on a step ladder. Those cans get heavy after 5 minutes of trying to hold it and see into the tank so you don't over fill. I don't use my tractor enough to justify anything too sophisticated, but I sure wish I had a...

    Appropriate RPMs - L3301

My 3301 regened for the first time this weekend at 20 hours almost exactly. I tend to keep the rpm's up between 2000 and pto mark. All the kubota mechanics i've spoken with have said that they're made to be run high. Has far as the regen is concerned, I started mine up to move it out of the...

    TPH Lifting Speed adjuster

I wrapped it in a rag and used a big set of channel locks and it broke free. the channel locks still marked up the knob. took a lot of force.

    TPH Lifting Speed adjuster

It's a balmy day here today. -15 degrees Celsius with the windchill. If we're putting water in something it better be heavily diluted. TPH adjuster seems quite stuck. I sprayed penetrating oil down the shaft but I'm still not able to turn it. I only used my hands, I could put a wrench on it...

L3301 project to fight off cabin fever

That looks very good. Would you take a picture of it in the day time on the tractor? I'd like to do something like that. It looks like it really lights things up.

    TPH Lifting Speed adjuster

Page 40/41. I'm being a bit knit picky maybe. When it shows the Emission Indicator warning light it says lower the water temperature, on the next page it talks about Coolant temperature. It would be clearer to use one term when referencing something.

    TPH Lifting Speed adjuster

That's what I thought, but it seems to differentiate between coolant temperature and water temperature. It references them both. Maybe it's just the vague Japanese translation. I wasn't aware it was strictly for lowering. Thanks for the clarification. I haven't been able to adjust it. In the...

    TPH Lifting Speed adjuster

Thanks guys I'll be a bit more forceful with it. I'm just browsing my owners manual waiting for this blizzard to pass and I'm seeing references to water temperature. This feels like a stupid question, but do you know what it's referring to? There are separate references to coolant temperature...

    TPH Lifting Speed adjuster

Hi Gents, I have a L3301. I believe this knob to be the adjuster for the TPH lifting speed. I'm not able to turn it either way. Should this turn fairly freely or am I doing something wrong? I haven't applied a ton of force because I don't want to break anything. Any thoughts?
