    Fuel Tank Removal

I've replaced the fuel tank on my M7040....ran a stick thru the front of it. Dealer says the tire has to come off to get it out....they are wrong. It's a pita to get out, but it's a matter of just removing stuff a bit at a time. The metal is a plate that protects the bottom of it. You...

    Grease gun recommendations

Got a Dewalt that uses the batteries from my drills......one of the best tool buys I've done. It's still a messy job for me, but it really helps with the greasing chores.

    2013 M8560 Slow Starting

Here's a link to another forum where I posted the issues I found with it. MY M7040 definitely starts better when I Force the use of glow plugs. http://www.tractorbynet.com/forums/kubota-owning-operating/329460-m7040-glow-plugs.html Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk

    2013 M8560 Slow Starting

Using the manual procedure to activate the glow plugs help the M7040 start well above freezing temps.....i guarantee you that. Kubota has the glow plug management hosed up on the M7040. Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk

    M7060 road speed

Not sure the speed of my M7040....don't road it much, but think I've got more speed than that. Something doesn't sound right.

    Grapple Size M7060

The first grappe was made by Markum, and they was bought out by NAI...and they changed nothing on the grapple except to improve the welds. https://northamericanimplements.com/

    Grapple Size M7060

I've had two different M7040s. On both I bought 48" grapple...to me if they get to big, you can't get them into spots. This log was almost beyond the capability of the tractor, but for the grapple wasn't a problem. Rear wheels was coming off the ground, had trouble moving due to that. On...

Kubota M7060 with Cab - Fuel tank removal.

Although my tractor is an M7040 open station, I was told by the dealer you need to take off the wheel....not true. It was tight, but it come out without that much issue. I rupture my tank via a stick doing grapple works in the woods, and dang near did it a second time.

    7060 starting problems

If you jumper direct to the starter, then you bypass that relay, that's almost got to tell you that's the problem.

    7060 starting problems

This probably won't help since it's not turning over at all, unless the starter is tie in to knowing the glow plugs aren't on. On my M7040 you can manually activate the glow plugs by putting tractor out of gear, put the shuttle in the forward position, turn the key on, all the way to the start...

    M7040 SUHD - Glow plugs

Have M7040HD....do you have shuttle shift? If so.... I could not get my glow plug light to come on, and went to a lot of trouble trying to diagnose it. Come to find out, Kubota...at least on this model...has funky control of the glow plugs. My tractor is in insulated barn, and here, the...

    M7060 - Need a drop drawbar.

I have an M7040 I bought used 3 years ago....no drawbar. To date, I have not needed it, but if my plans work out, want to buy a batwing and will need the drawbar next year. Not sure myself other than I bookmark argisupply as a possible source. Point is...if you find one, I'll buy your old...

    ZD326 question

Filters are in series. I no longer have a ZD326, but I had a similar problem. Trash in the pickup in the tank. As a test, pull the line going to the tank with the problem at the switch. Then blow air back through the line. See if the problem is resolved, at least temporary. The left hand...

FEL mounted hydraulic cement mixer project

I did that, but with an electric mixer. Fabed up a mount that bolted to bucket. Used cord on first project, but plan on making a 3pt tote, to put a generator, and propane bottle on it to running self contained. It worked pretty good.

    Kubota ZD326 & 72" deck - Enough power?

The tire sizes in these categories are not exact, meaning different brands same sizes will measure different. Yes seen the AT101, but for whatever reason I don't like that thread pattern. The WT300 I do. The Carlisle HD Trax thread pattern I like....but those tires don't have enough plies...

    Kubota ZD326 & 72" deck - Enough power?

Be interested on you reporting back how this works on the hills. I had a ZD326...and I was getting it stuck ALL the time around pond areas. Ponds dams just could not keep it from skating to the bottom. Got an F series now, and can side hill the pond dams. But I must say...those tires look...

    M7040 Fuel Tank Removal

Doable...but a pita. Dealer says they take off left tire for better access in fact their manuals tell them to do it that way. I did not have that luxury. I ruptured mine....and found it will come out from the bottom. You will have to get your head up it there for some of the bolts.

    Kubota ZD326 & 72" deck - Enough power?

If you get into tall grass...no....but in those circumstance, just slow down. ZD326 with 60" performs great and impressive, but if you are in constant taller grass, you'll not like the 72".
