I would put connect a volt meter or test light to the shut off solenoid , and keep an eye on it why cranking.

I have a husky 266 that i bought in 1980 and it still runs as new. I have an outside boiler and use this saw on my home made processor ,and if anyone has a outside boiler you know how much wood they use.

Have you checked you grounds,you can use a booster cable from the battery to a good engine ground.Pull the ignition switch out with the wires still connected and test with a light or volt meter ,if you have nothing there go to the starter connection and start back testing till you have no power...

When i went looking for a used tractor i wanted no fancy electronics,so i end up with a 1995 M7030 .Some say the old stuff does not last ,i have a 1950 something MF 4 cyl diesel . The hr meter was broke at 10,000 when i bought it,i have had it for 40 some years and it still runs fine. :rolleyes:

The one i bought was $ 140 Canadian, so that would be like $ 50 US lol .

I come to find out the cab is a Litchfield ser # cp188-20-18.I emailed the company,and was told they had a fire in 2000,and these manuals burned.Does anyone have a copy off this manual.

It has High and Low ,with 4 speed main and manual shuttle .Serial # M7030T-70995.It does have the squared off front end.

I got the tractor home and it is 8 f x 8 r ,tractor data is wrong.Also they were wrong on the height,now it will not fit in the garage !!I wanted to put in a 9 ' door anyway LOL I am looking for parts for the cab ( latch for back window and shocks to hold doors and rear window open ).

I am in the process of buying a 1995 7030,and by the pics i can not figure out the shift pattern. Tractor data says 12 f x 4 r. Anyone know or have this tractor ,any help would be appreciated .:confused:
